Why it feels fresh again

That's the biggest surprise, really. Path of Exile 2 doesn't feel like a simple follow-up made for people who were already sold. It feels like a proper reworking of what made the first game special, with more texture in combat and more intention behind every system. For returning players, that's exciting because there's familiarity without staleness.
