Efficient movement is the backbone of any great loot route, and the Dam Battlegrounds secret path showcases just how powerful a single zipline can be when placed correctly. To compete with the most optimized raiders and keep your loadouts competitive, many players enhance this method with progression shortcuts such as EZNPC ARC Raiders, allowing them to fully exploit this movement-focused strategy.

This run starts on the dam roof, where you should quickly clear the three primary loot containers: the ammo crate, pharmacy bag, and grenade box. These early spots can grant blueprints, weapons, and grenades, setting you up with both firepower and utility for the rest of the route. Securing strong gear early also gives you the confidence to commit to the high-risk, high-reward upper control tower section.

The key innovation in this route is that you only need one carefully placed zipline rather than multiple, which simplifies execution while improving safety. Stand under the ladder at the top of the control tower and anchor the zipline to the right side of that ladder, then jump as you near the end to guarantee a smooth landing. Other placements often feel clunky, cause you to clip into walls, or even knock you off completely, making them far less reliable over many runs.

Upon reaching the top, you will usually face a ceiling turret that can quickly shred careless raiders. The safest approach is to hug cover, toss grenades from the earlier roof box, or peek and shoot in short bursts until the turret is destroyed. Once the defense is cleared, the room opens up with valuable loot opportunities, most notably breach boxes that can drop powerful attachments and consumables.

As you advance along the elevated walkway, keep your eyes open for additional loot tucked into corners and around turns. Grenade boxes may appear here as well, sometimes containing rare blueprints such as patina, which can significantly upgrade future builds. Regularly check both sides of the path so you do not miss any containers or backpacks hidden along the geometry.

One of the most rewarding finds in this route is the raider’s backpack near the end of the walkway, which tends to hold high-quality items and is easy to overlook. Just beyond, the raider survival camp adds even more value with luggage that can drop high-tier keys like the pink Stella Montus key. With the current patch, random security breach spawns along this area mean the Security Breach perk can further multiply your loot if you are willing to gamble on RNG.

When completing the run, reuse the same zipline on the way down rather than trying to set up additional lines that often malfunction. After reaching the floor, exit through the door across from the zipline, descend the stairs and ladder, then sprint across the exposed red leg toward the raider hatch, using adrenaline shots to reduce the danger from open sightlines. Perfecting this zipline route turns Dam Battlegrounds into one of the most efficient farming locations for dedicated ARC Raiders players.
